FAQ

What is circuit training and how is it different from other regular gyms?

  1. Regular gyms are unisex gyms. Circuit gyms are exclusively for women. We use equipment which are specifically built for women—lighter, smaller, and achieves results uniquely for women.
  2. Regular gyms charge you by the hour for fitness coaching. This is on top of your gym membership. Whereas trainers in circuit training gyms customise fitness programs for you, provide coaching and track your progress at no extra charge.
  3. Circuit training is a structured program that combines aerobics, strength training and flexibility training all in half an hour. Circuit training gets you in and out of the gym in no time.

Do you offer aerobics classes?

We offer aerobics exercises as part of circuit training routine instead of sessions with fixed time table. This gives you more flexibility in schedule.

Is a 29-minute workout really effective?

Yes. You can try it for yourself! At the end of the 29 minutes, you will have worked all “look good” muscle groups every woman wants to target – namely thigh, upper back, bum, back of your arms etc. While you are burning calories, you are also giving yourself an overall body toning so you can achieve reduction in both kilos and dress size.

Do I have to wait to use the equipment?

No. Circuit training is a unique program that keeps everyone moving from exercise to exercise at periodic intervals. Members take equal turns on the equipment so there is no waiting time for you.

Will I build muscle?

Using equipment built specifically for women – smaller and lighter, our focus is to assist females in toning and firming for a better body shape and not for building bulky muscles. We offer you a lean body mass which is actually good for weight loss as it raises metabolism and enhances overall fat burning mechanism.

Will there be someone to guide me?

Yes. You will work out under professional and friendly supervision. There will always be a trainer on duty during operating hours to watch over all the members.

Is there an age limit to participating in the program?

Our program is senior and beginner friendly. We have members age 8 to 79.

I have not been exercising for a while. Will it be too tough for me?

First of all, we think about your safety first as you set your personal goals on fitness. We begin with a fitness analysis for all new comers to assess your stamina, health condition, personal goals and body shape. The trainer will create a workout plan to suit your fitness level and then take you step by step through the workout, hence making the program suitable for women of all fitness levels.  You will find it enjoyable to work out with us as the program will be customised for you without exerting you beyond your limits.

Who can benefit from vibration therapy?

Vibration training is beneficial for a variety of populations from young athletes to older adults. Those suffering from pains in the back, knees, shoulders, and neck including those suffering from arthritis, osteoporosis can best benefit from vibration training. It is a safe platform for people with physical limitations, trauma, and injuries. Even with little to no movement, which means just by sitting down or standing on the vibration training platform, you are already giving your muscles a workout. For the perfectly healthy person, using the vibration training platform makes workout results show at a shorter time.

How does vibration training compare to conventional exercise?

The major difference is on the time you use to achieve results. 15 minutes of vibration therapy = 1 hour of conventional exercise. Vibration therapy works on stimulating muscles through an involuntary stretch reflex. What this means for you is the ability to generate up to 3000 muscle contractions with minimal effort on your part and in less time. Best of all, it limits the stress put on joints and ligaments.
